Snowy start to April: NWS forecasts 3-5 inches today

If you’re in south central North Dakota prepare for some snow today. The National Weather Service has placed A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect as of 7 am. Total accumulations between 3 and 5 inches are expected, with a low chance of over 6 inches in the James River Valley. Winds may be gusting as high as 35 mph. Snow is expected to begin this evening in Jamestown, closer to 5 pm. Plan on slippery road conditions, and prepare for patchy blowing snow to reduce visibility.
