Five people were hurt in a side-by-side rollover Friday evening in Ransom County, near Lisbon.
North Dakota Highway Patrol says a 36-year-old Lisbon man lost control of a Polaris Ranger around 6:30 p.m. on a muddy, snow-covered minimum maintenance road about two-and-a-half miles southwest of Elliott. Troopers say the vehicle went off the road, came back onto it and overturned.
The driver suffered serious injuries and was later airlifted to Fargo. A 20-year-old woman from Valley City was also seriously hurt, and another 29-year-old woman from Lisbon with two juvenile boys from were injured.
The Highway Patrol says the driver is facing a DUI charge, and the crash remains under investigation.
