Napoleon High School junior Aliyah Schwartzenberger has been named one of six statewide finalists for the NDHSAA Distinguished Student Award. The finalists were announced Tuesday, and interviews are scheduled for April 29 in Jamestown.
The other finalists are Jocelyn Berg of Grand Forks Red River, Jordan Christofferson of West Fargo Horace, Angong Deng of North Sargent, Leah Dokken of Minot, and Hetta Skaare of Dickinson Trinity.
The award recognizes students entering their senior year who make a strong impact through school activities and in their school and community
