Street paving begins in Jamestown today, the first of multiple planned construction operations this spring.
Monday’s chip-sealing project will affect the northeast part of town from 13th Street NE to the north and westward. This includes the stretch past Jamestown Regional Airport, and most residential streets to the west to 3rd Avenue NE.
The construction work will not affect Highway 20 or 12th Avenue NE.
City officials ask residents to be patient and use cation throughout the re-paving process. Detours may be posted where necessary, and some streets may be closed.
Chip sealing in other areas of the city will begin after Phase 1 is complete.
A map detailing planned construction can be found below, or at the link HERE.
