Utility work is forcing a road closure and water outage in southeast Jamestown today.
The City Engineer’s office says the work will begin around 7:00 a.m. and affect 2nd Avenue SE from 3rd to 4th Street SE. Detours will be posted.
Water service is expected to be restored by 5:00 p.m., with the road expected to re-open around the same time.
Those in the area with critical water needs are advised to plan ahead, and contact their utility company or landlord for assistance.
