Jun 29, 2026 | 7:43 AM

A new family attraction is moving forward at Jamestown’s Frontier Village.

Bison Bend Mini Golf received city approval last week and now has a contractor selected for the project. The 18-hole course is planned for Frontier Village property, near the World’s Largest Buffalo and the North American Bison Discovery Center.

Organizers say each hole will include a local story, landmark, or piece of North Dakota history. The project is estimated at $850,000 and is supported in part by a $212,500 Destination Development Grant from the North Dakota Department of Commerce.

Kepida Contracting has been selected as the general contractor. Construction is expected to begin this summer, with a target opening date of June 1st, 2027.

Organizers say they are still looking to secure funding through grants, sponsorships, and local donations. Sponsorship opportunities are still available through Jamestown Frontier Attractions.
