Extreme Heat Watch Issued for Western North Dakota: Temperatures Up to 105 Degrees

It’s nearly North Dakota’s turn with the heat that the world has been talking about for weeks now. The National Weather Service of Bismarck has issued an Extreme Heat Watch for western North Dakota from Saturday afternoon through Monday evening. Heat could be as high as 100 to 105 degrees each afternoon, and overnight temperatures may only fall to around 70 degrees.

If you’re planning on being outside this weekend, plan on extensively hydrating. Take breaks from the sun, and wear loose-fitting breathable clothing.
