Jamestown and Woodbury Township Reach Deal
JAMESTOWN – The city of Jamestown and Woodbury Township reached agreement on Tuesday for a water line easement along a half-mile stretch of township road. The location south of Jamestown runs west from U.S. Highway 281 past the Country Acre Veterinary Clinic. The water line will deliver service from the city’s new water tower to the areas around the Buffalo Mall and Walmart. Crews are currently working on water lines west of the Buffalo Mall. Work on the newly acquired easement is expected to begin by the end of this week. An unusual aspect of the project is that the new utility work will run down the middle of the township road because existing utilities are already buried in the ditches.
