Settlement Reached in Jamestown Teacher Contract Negotiations
JAMESTOWN – The Jamestown Public School Board and the Jamestown Education Association announced an agreement on teachers’ salaries for this school year and for the 2014-2015 year.

The agreement follows the guidelines published by a North Dakota Education Fact Finding Commission that reviewed the situation after the two sides reach impasse in negotiations that began in April.

Under the new contract, teachers will get a 4% salary increase this school year and a 4.3% increase next school year.
