The American Farm Bureau is urging the Senate to quickly confirm Brooke Rollins as the next Secretary of Agriculture after her nomination was unanimously advanced by the Senate Agriculture Committee.

In a letter to Senate leaders, Farm Bureau President Zippy Duvall emphasized the need for strong leadership at USDA, especially as farmers face economic and policy challenges.

The letter also praised Rollins’ background, including her White House experience and work in rural development, economic growth, and food security.

Duvall emphasized that her leadership would benefit farmers, ranchers, and rural communities while ensuring USDA remains a key advocate for agricultural innovation.
