A woman and her dog were killed in a head-on collision north of Moorhead on Saturday. 43-year-old Jennifer “Liz” Watson, and her dog Tank were hit by 28-year-old Christopher Pink, who allegedly drove in the wrong lane after drinking alcohol and taking shots at a North Moorhead bar minutes before the crash, according to surveillance footage. Watson’s boyfriend Randy Kjersten was working in Bismarck for the National Guard when notified. Pink has three previous DUI arrests since 2019, and was deemed an “extreme danger” to society and was given a $300,000 bail by the judge during his Tuesday hearing.
