With a 44-40 win over the LaMoure-Litchville/Marion (LLM) Loboes on Tuesday night, the Medina/Pingree-Buchanan (MPB) Thunder won the Division B, District 2 Tournament in Jamestown on Tuesday night.
The day started with wins from the Linton-HMB Lions and the Edgeley-Kulm-Montpelier (EKM) Rebels in the region qualifiers. The Lions beat Strasburg/Zeeland 60-13 and the Rebels took down Kidder County, 49-40.
Linton-HMB, EKM, LLM and MPB will all move onto the Region 1 Tournament. The tournament will start on Monday, March 10 and be played at the Jamestown Civic Center until the final game at 7:30 p.m. on March 13.
