CNH Industrial has announced an immediate pause on farm equipment shipments from its North American and European factories, citing uncertainty over the impact of new tariffs set to take effect.
While production and parts shipments will continue as usual, the company is temporarily halting deliveries to assess pricing implications.
The move comes as a surprise, as CNH Industrial’s most recent earnings call in February did not indicate plans to halt shipments. However, CEO Gerrit Marx had noted a 34% reduction in production in late 2024 to help lower dealer inventories.
With Case IH and New Holland heavily reliant on both North American and European manufacturing, this pause underscores the uncertainty manufacturers face as global trade policies shift.
