Main Street will be shut down and packed with people as Jamestown’s Community Block Party kicks off tomorrow, August 27th at 5 PM. The free event welcomes University of Jamestown students back to town while connecting them with local businesses and organizations; this is when we show them what Jamestown has to offer! Main Street will be blocked off with 125-150 booths offering food, drinks, prizes, music, and games until 8 PM. Everyone is invited to join hundreds of UJ students and thousands of community members for this city-wide celebration. Our sister station, Mix 93.3, will broadcast live from 3 to 7 PM with a special commercial-free playlist, plus giveaways and a cornhole challenge! Just bring a smile and maybe a bag to carry all your goodies!
