A bicyclist was killed Tuesday afternoon in Richland County when struck by a vehicle. The crash happened at 3:49 PM on County Road 81, where a northbound 2008 Toyota Yaris hit the rear of the bicycle. The female cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Yaris sustained minor injuries. The North Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash and has not released additional details at this time. This marks another tragic reminder for both drivers and cyclists to remain vigilant on rural roads.
