A West Fargo man is facing multiple charges after leading law enforcement on a high-speed chase through two counties early Tuesday morning. According to a press release, 42-year-old Christopher Pankowski was clocked at 118 miles per hour in a white Cadillac as he fled from Cass County into Richland County on Interstate 29. Highway Patrol troopers successfully deployed spike strips, but Pankowski continued driving at over 100 miles per hour into Fargo before abandoning his vehicle at an apartment complex. Fargo police arrested him on foot. Pankowski faces felony charges including fleeing police and reckless endangerment, plus multiple misdemeanor charges including DUI and an outstanding warrant.
