Mild weather is holding in Stutsman County this week, with only light chances for precipitation. . .but eyes are already turning towards Thanksgiving week.

Skies will run a mix of clouds and sun through Friday, with highs climbing into the 40s across eastern North Dakota.

Tuesday should reach the mid-40s, and Wednesday may reach into the upper-40s before cooler air returns late in the week.

Overnight lows will fall into the 20s and low 30s, with a slight chance of a rain-snow mix developing tonight. No measurable snow is expected through the weekend.

Long-range guidance shows rising odds for snow somewhere in the Northern Plains during Thanksgiving week. Meteorologists at the National Weather Service say a cold front could push temperatures about 10 degrees below normal with increasing snow chances, possibly setting the stage for holiday storm impacts in the region.
