Want to get more involved in local government? Local Democrats are gathering tonight in Jamestown for an evening of connecting intergenerational community members in shared goals as the District 12 Dem-NPL hosts its annual Winter Blue Dinner.
The event kicks off at 6:00 p.m. at The Bunker and features guest speaker Representative Karla Rose Hanson of Fargo, who will provide updates from the ongoing legislative session in Bismarck. Organizers say the goal is to build a support infrastructure for future candidates, spreading the message that one shouldn’t need to be a “self-funded millionaire” to serve the community.
Attendees can expect a homemade BBQ pork dinner, a silent auction, and the return of the event’s popular annual pie auction.
