The building houses 68 units. KFYR reports that the fire originated in a crawl space below the three-story building, eventually spreading upward through the roof.
In the face of tragedy, Bismarck and Mandan are showing up for their neighbors, as donations and offerings of support roll in to the people affected. The ND Lions are actively looking for volunteers to assist, while other local establishments are collecting donations and offering services.
