Today is the final day of the North Dakota Peace Officers Association conference in Jamestown. The event began Tuesday and wraps up this evening at the Civic Center.
The association traces its roots to organizations that began forming in 1911, with the current NDPOA forming from a 1939 sheriff’s group. The current organization offers voluntary membership for law enforcement and criminal justice professionals.
The annual convention includes business meetings, training, awards, and member competitions.
