Cardiology outreach services are beginning next week in Oakes.
Dr. Matt Glogoza, an interventional cardiologist based in Fargo, will begin seeing patients at Sanford Oakes Clinic on Tuesday, June 9th.
Sanford make the announcement Wednesday. The outreach clinic will be offered on the second Tuesday of each month from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Dr. Glogoza treats heart conditions including coronary artery disease, heart failure, high blood pressure, cholesterol issues and valve problems.
The service adds scheduled local access to a heart specialist in Oakes, something the community and surrounding areas do not currently have through local medical providers.
Sanford says appointments with Dr. Glogoza can be scheduled immediately.
