The unofficial results from Tuesday’s North Dakota primary show that 3,417 ballots were cast in Stutsman County.
The Jamestown mayoral race currently shows Katie Hemmer with the lead at 46% of the vote, defeating incumbent Dwaine Heinrich and challeger Pat Davis Senior. For Jamestown City Council, David Steele won his uncontested race, and Shannon Davis won the two-year unexpired term.
The statewide races show that Stutsman County Republican voters backed Julie Fedorchak for Congress with over 72% of the vote. Trygve Hammer, uncontested, received 901 votes. Of the Republican Public Service Commission candidates, Sheri Haugen-Hoffart received the most votes in her category, while Jill Kringstad secured the 2-year term. Democrats ran uncontested.
