A 73-year-old man from Minot has died following a head-on, wrong-way crash on U.S. Highway 2 late Tuesday morning.
The NDHP reports that the man was driving a side-by-side UTV the wrong way on an off-ramp on the east side of Minot. The UTV then continued going west in the eastbound lanes. Eventually, the man collided head-on with a Cadillac XT-5.
The driver of the UTV was not wearing a seatbelt or helmet and died at the scene. The 60-year-old driver of the Cadillac sustained minor injuries.
