NDSU’s Carrington Research Extension Center is hosting its 2026 Crop Management Field School today.
The event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and focuses on practical crop and soil management recommendations, using field demonstrations, and research trials.
Sessions include weed identification, herbicide site-of-action, crop growth stages, nutrient deficiencies and soil fertility. Most of today’s work is being held outdoors in the center’s plots and weed arboretum.
Certified Crop Advisers are earning continuing education credits through the event.
