The North Dakota Game & Fish Department is looking for their next guides and outfitters.
Game & Fish officials have scheduled their next qualifying examinations on August 15 at 1 p.m. at their office in Bismarck. Preregistration is required by August 7.
Guide applicants must also pass a background check, be free of criminal Game & Fish violations, and have first aid and resuscitation training. Work or employment with a licensed hunting outfitter is also required.
Becoming a Hunting Outfitter applicants is the next step up from guide, and requires two years of experience in that role and have liability insurance.
Game & Fish typically offers least one guide and outfitter exam each year.
