A free planetarium show is planned Saturday at Valley City State University.
The show is called ‘Traveling around the World’ and is a story about a boy travelling in his hot air balloon around the world, taking viewers to the ancient wonders of Egypt and trips to Rio, New York, and more. Wes Anderson who runs the Planetarium says the show is designed for kids under 16.
The show is set for 1 p.m. in Room 309 of the Rhoades Science Center on the VCSU campus. Elevator access is available near the west entrance.
VCSU is home to North Dakota’s only planetarium. The space includes a 24-foot domed ceiling, 50 reclining seats, and a full-dome projection system added last year.
The show is free and open to the public.
