Unleaded gas prices across North Dakota declined by an average of three cents in the past week, while diesel prices rose the same amount.
AAA reports prices for a gallon unleaded now average $3.88 in the state, while diesel prices average $4.94. Unleaded prices are up about 30 cents from a month ago with diesel prices up over 60 cents during that time.
Prices for unleaded averaged $2.91 in North Dakota during the first week of August last year, with diesel at $3.43.
Analysts continue to predict prices will remain relatively steady, or see moderate increases, in the coming week due to multiple ongoing conflicts in the middle east and the Russia-Ukraine war also disrupting supply lines.
