North Dakota’s early Canada goose season officially opens on Saturday, August 15th, across all three hunting zones.
The state Game and Fish Department says bag limits and licensing rules remain unchanged from last year, with a daily limit of 15 geese and a possession limit of 45. Closing dates vary by region, ending September 7th in the Missouri River zone, September 15th in the western zone, and September 22nd in the eastern zone.
Hunters are reminded to ensure they have their state licenses, Harvest Information Program certification, and required stamps before heading out.
