BY DANY LEDDA, KSJB Sports (LaMoure, ND) – Lamoure-Litchville/Marion put their might on display at Townsend Field Friday night against South Border in a 9-man playoff semi final rematch.
Coach Andy DelaBarre and his pack of Loboes cruised to a 44-6 victory in front of a Homecoming crowd. Senior QB Mason Warcken displayed versatility throwing for a pair of touchdowns and running one on his own. The LLM defense bent but didn’t break, holding a crafty Mustang offense to only six points. Preston Arndt was a standout on both sides of the ball, creating chaos for the South Border offense as a defensive lineman, and also scoring a rushing touchdown on offense.
LLM Travels to Hankinson next week for a matchup of two 4-0 teams, while South Border (2-2) will host Wyndmere-Lidgerwood (2-2)
