Gas prices are holding steady in Jamestown and across North Dakota this week, with the lowest prices now showing up in Cass County.
The statewide average price for regular gas sits at $2.85 a gallon, according to AAA. That’s down one cent from a week ago, eight cents cheaper than a month ago, and about 24 cents lower than this time last year.
In Stutsman County, prices are averaging around $2.69, slightly below the state mark and similar to last week’s levels.
Cass County has the lowest countywide average this week at about $2.66, while Divide County remains the most expensive at $3.12. The national average stands at $3.05.
Diesel in North Dakota averages $3.43 per gallon — down from both last month and last year.
The cheapest price reported statewide Tuesday was $2.47 in Fargo.
