While industry experts expect gas prices to rise over the summer, North Dakota has yet to see those steep increases.
The average for a gallon in the state is $2.97, that’s up one cent from last week and three cents from one month ago. It’s also down 22 cents from a year ago.
The national average has seen a similar small-rise during the past month, time to an average of $3.18.
The highest gas prices are in California, where the average is $4.54. Mississippi sees the lowest average price currently at $2.71 per gallon.
The least-expensive price in Jamestown currently is $2.83.
