A new member will join the Jamestown Public School Board. Mindy Skunberg secured a seat on the board in Tuesday’s primary, receiving over 1,500 votes, alongside winning incumbents Heidi Heim Larson and Jason Rohr.
The board will face impending hurdles. The Jamestown Sun reports a $1.3 million budget deficit, and they must search for a new superintendent to oversee its 2,000 students and $17 million annual fund.
