EPA awards over $684k to North Dakota pesticide and water initiatives

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is awarding over $680,000 to North Dakota agencies, according to Sen. Kevin Cramer’s office. The North Dakota Dept. of Agriculture will receive a $475,000 Pesticide Program Performance Grant. This will support work in pesticide regulation.

More than $209,000 will head to the Dept. of Environmental Quality. That money will be used for a local engineering feasibility study and water system upgrades for the community of Maxbass.
