Drivers in south Jamestown should expect lane reductions on Highway 281 South beginning today.
The City Engineer’s Office says northbound traffic will be reduced with the outside lane closed from 20th Street Southwest to 4th Avenue Southwest and 12th Street Southwest near the bottom of Mill Hill.
The work is expected to continue through the day until it is finished. Drivers are asked to use caution and take another route if possible.
A second northbound lane reduction is scheduled Wednesday along the same stretch.
Closures could be extended as work is needed.
