Jamestown drivers should watch for street work and road closures starting Monday.
The City Engineer’s Office says valley gutter replacements are planned at the intersection of 4th Avenue and 18th Street Northeast. The intersection will stay open, but traffic may be affected for about one week.
Also starting Monday, road closures are planned for milling and overlay work as part of the city’s street maintenance program. That work begins at 7:30 a.m. and is expected to last until about Wednesday.
Affected areas include parts of 3rd, 6th, 8th and 10th Avenues Northeast, along with 16th Street Northeast from 9th Avenue Northeast to Highway 20.
Drivers are asked to watch for signs, remove vehicles and trailers from the roadway and take alternate routes when possible.
