More Jamestown, Valley City Road Work Beginning

Drivers in Jamestown and Valley City have a couple of new road closures to navigate.

Northbound lanes are reduced in Jamestown on the 100 block of First Avenue South, from the U.S. Bank branch to Fred’s Den. The city says that work is expected to last about two weeks.

In Valley City, 12th Street Northeast will close Monday between 2nd Avenue Northeast and 5th Avenue Northeast for utility work tied to the new school project.  That closure is expected to last about a month.

Drivers are asked to follow posted detours and use those routes if possible.
