The 2026 ACM Awards delivered a results night that did not follow the most obvious script. At the ceremony in Las Vegas, Cody Johnson took home Entertainer of the Year and Male Artist of the Year, giving him two of the evening’s biggest honors.
The winners list also placed Ella Langley at the center of the night. She won Female Artist of the Year and Artist-Songwriter of the Year, while “Choosin’ Texas” earned both Song of the Year and Single of the Year. She also shared Music Event of the Year with Riley Green for “Don’t Mind if I Do.”
Megan Moroney entered the show as the leading nominee, which made her quieter outcome one of the night’s most noticeable developments. Lainey Wilson, Chris Stapleton, and Zach Top also had strong momentum going in, but the final results leaned elsewhere.
Awards nights often reflect both industry support and timing. This year, the ACMs gave clear recognition to Johnson’s steady rise and Langley’s breakout moment.
