Jamestown Regional Airport is not included in the latest round of federal airport infrastructure grants for North Dakota.  The airport had received federal funding earlier this year.

The Federal Aviation Administration announced that 11 North Dakota airports will share about $32 million through the Airport Improvement Program.

The largest awards in this round include about $8.8 million for Bismarck Municipal Airport, $8.6 million for Dickinson Theodore Roosevelt Regional Airport, and $7.6 million for Minot International Airport. Hector International Airport in Fargo is also receiving $4 million for apron reconstruction.

Other grants are going to airports in Beach, Williston, Mott, Glen Ullin, Garrison, Hettinger and Tioga.

Most of the funding is slated to go towards runway and terminal improvements.

Jamestown Regional Airport was selected earlier in the year for grant awards.  The FAA’s May distributions included $2.15 million for the airport to reseal and resurface runway and taxiway pavement.

Jamestown also received $2.2 million federal funding in 2025 to expand its snow removal equipment and sand storage building.
