Several area government meetings are set for Tuesday, with county projects, road work, and park improvements on local agendas.
In Jamestown, the Stutsman County Park Board meets at 8:30 a.m. in the commission room at the county courthouse. The agenda includes a kayak dock update and a bid award for the Pelican Point bathhouse.
The Stutsman County Commission will meet after the Park Board concludes. Commissioners will consider accepting the Crystal Springs Watershed Initiative feasibility study, a hazard mitigation grant agreement, replacement of the jail security automation system, courthouse parking lot work, and agreements tied to the Moon Lake Flexible Transportation Fund project.
The Valley City Commission meets at 5 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall. Commissioner David Kline will take his oath of office. There will also be a public hearing on a liquor license for Sky Lanes and appointment of a commission vice president.
The commission will also review a power sale agreement with the Missouri Basin Municipal Power Agency and consider appointing Jamestown attorney Lawrence Kropp as municipal judge for the rest of a term that runs through June 2028.
Barnes County commissioners meet at 8 a.m. at the courthouse in Valley City, after a 7 a.m. Park Board meeting.
LaMoure County and Dickey County commissions are also scheduled to meet Tuesday to discuss construction projects, road business, county business, and budget items.
