A Carrington man suffered life-threatening injuries when his motorcycle crashed Friday evening in Foster County.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the 31-year-old was traveling east with two other motorcyclists on Highway 9 west of Kensal. His Harley-Davidson went into the south ditch shortly after 7:15 p.m., struck an approach and threw him from the motorcycle.
An ambulance took the man to a Carrington hospital before he was flown to a Fargo hospital. The patrol says he was not wearing a helmet and did not have a motorcycle endorsement.
The Foster County Sheriff’s Department and Carrington Ambulance assisted at the scene. The cause of the crash and any possible charges remain under investigation.
