The District 44 Dem-NPL executive committee announced Tuesday that Jamie Selzler will take over the Senate seat left open by newly elected Fargo Mayor Josh Boschee. Selzler, a former executive director of the state party and current Democratic National Committeeman, will serve out the remainder of the term through 2028.
Looking ahead to his new role, Selzler tells the ND Monitor that he plans to bring a pragmatic approach to state government, including upcoming debates on substance regulations during an anticipated special legislative session this fall.
