Jamestown Regional Airport recorded its busiest July on record with 1,572 passenger boardings.
Mayor and Airport Director Katie Hemmer announced the total, saying it beat the previous July record of 1,297 boardings set in 2017. The airport also recorded 305 more boardings than it did in July of last year, a 24% increase.
Hemmer says the strong passenger numbers this year point towards sustainable commercial air travel through Jamestown.
SkyWest Airlines currently operates 12 flights each week between Jamestown and Denver through alliance partner United Express.
