Bunnie Xo has shared how a past affair during her marriage to Jelly Roll affected her ability to trust others. During a recent episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast, the host explained that the deception surrounding infidelity caused more pain than the physical act itself.
While speaking with guest Denise Richards, Bunnie described the experience as emotional whiplash. She said discovering that other people knew before she did left her feeling humiliated and isolated. In her view, betrayal trauma can change how a person approaches trust long after the relationship has ended.
The former couple married in Las Vegas in 2016 and renewed their vows in 2023. Their divorce was finalized in July 2026, shortly before what would have been their 10th wedding anniversary.
Despite the difficult history, Bunnie and Jelly Roll have continued to speak respectfully about each other in public. Bunnie has said she is not interested in marrying again and is currently focused on healing, enjoying her independence and moving forward with her life.
