By Jacob Waltman, KSJB (Jamestown, ND) – In the first round of the North Dakota 9-man Football Playoffs, Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter beat TGU 66 to 14. Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter started off slow in the first half but after a 39-yard touchdown run from Bryce Schneider it was all Imperials after that.
The Imperials were led by big performances from QB Bryce Schneider, WR Jackson Piatz and WR Carson Piatz. The Imperials are advancing to the quarterfinals for the second year in row where they will play Alexander, in a reach match from last years first round of the playoffs.
Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter will host Alexander next Saturday in the quarterfinals.
