Fertilizer Prices Down More in U.S.

In the first week of August 2024, the average retail prices of fertilizers tracked by DTN showed a general decline, although none experienced a significant drop which defined as 5% or more. Here’s the breakdown of the changes in prices for each fertilizer:

Anhydrous led the decline with a 4% reduction from $705 per ton to $676,

followed by UAN32 which fell 3% from $389 per ton to $376.

DAP saw a 2% decrease from $760 per ton to $744, while

UAN28 also decreased by approximately 2% from $345 to $338 per ton.

The remaining four fertilizers—

Potash at $503 per ton (down from $506),

MAP at $819 per ton (down from $821),

urea at $504 per ton (down from $506), and

10-34-0 at $640 per ton (down from $642)— all experienced slight declines of around 2 to 3 dollars.
