Jamestown Area Youth Baseball is getting ready to open the summer season.
JAYBAL will hold its Opening Day celebration Wednesday, June 3, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m at Jack Brown Stadium.
The event is open to the community and includes free admission, family activities, concession stand items and a league-wide group photo.
The evening also includes Legion baseball, with Jamestown scheduled to host Valley City at 7 p.m.
JAYBAL includes players from T-ball through Legion baseball, and is separate from youth school baseball leagues and teams.
