A Fargo man was killed early Friday after being struck by a semi on Interstate 29 in Cass County.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the crash happened at about 3:45 a.m. near mile marker 79, about one mile north of Argusville.
Troopers say a 2025 Freightliner pulling a van trailer was traveling south in the right lane when a pedestrian entered the roadway.
The pedestrian, a 71-year-old Fargo man, died at the scene. His name has not been released.
The semi driver, a 45-year-old man from St. Cloud, Minnesota, was not injured. Troopers say he was wearing a seat belt.
The crash remains under investigation by the NDHP.
