Race Day is Saturday for Jamestown Running of the Pink Breast Cancer Fundraiser

Jun 5, 2026 | 7:07 AM

Running of the Pink returns to Jamestown Saturday morning.

The 19th annual fundraiser begins at 9 a.m. at RM Stoudt, with a 10K run, 5K run and 5K walk. A virtual option is also available for people taking part outside Jamestown.

Same-day registration opens at 7:30 a.m.

Organizer Jamie Walton told KSJB earlier this week that more than 700 racers are expected, which could make the largest Running of the Pink event yet.

The event raises money for breast and cervical cancer awareness, treatment and research in the Jamestown area. Running of the Pink says all proceeds stay local, with support going to Jamestown Regional Medical Center, No Excuses and Central Valley Health Women’s Way programs.

The weather should cooperate for race morning. The Jamestown forecast calls for plenty of sunshine Saturday, with warmer temperatures and breezier conditions later in the day.

KSJB Radio and MIX 93.3 will broadcast live from the course on Saturday morning. MIX 93.3 will have coverage from 7 to 11 a.m., with KSJB joining from 9:30 to 11.
