The 2nd annual Raising Hell for ALS benefit concerts are taking place today and tomorrow in Ypsilani, ND. The charity event raises money to support ALS research, awareness, and treatment in North Dakota and across the country.
The activities begin Friday night with camping access and a free night of concerts and games. Parking and gates open this evening with The Trainwrecks performing on the music stage at 7pm.
There will be lots of entertainment and vendors on site. Axe throwing, wall climbing, cornhole, yard games, kids bouncy houses, and more are planned in a family-friendly theme. There will also be food and drink trucks, many vendors, and some special items up for charity auctions.
Saturday is the big day, with a full afternoon and evening of entertainment planned. Gates open at 2pm with pre-concert activities and events continuing. The music begins at 4pm with a concert by Eagles tribute band Hotel Desperado. They’ll be followed by the country-rock headline act who’s back for the second straight year – Jackson Taylor and the Sinners.
Friday’s event if free with Saturday’s admission going towards ALS fundraising. Tickets Saturday are $25 at the gate for ages 15+, with younger children getting in free. You can also purchase tickets in advance at StubWire.com.

The event grounds are in Ypsilanti, about 15 minutes south of Jamestown, east of Highway 281 on 44th St. SE. The main area is right off the main road in the center of the town.

KSJB Radio and MIX 93.3fm will be broadcasting live from the festivities on Saturday from 2-7pm. Attendees can swing by our mobile studio van area for free raffles and giveaways, and have a chance to meet some of our crew including Seth Dunlap, Dany Ledda, and Jamielee Cunningham.
