A Jamestown assisted living facility is getting some extra assistance of their own.
The Jamestown Community Foundation has awarded a $2,500 grant to SMP Health – Ave Maria. The funds will be directed towards new medical equipment for the Bison Lane Nurse’s Station.
Bison Lane is part of an $8.5 million private room project on the grounds of the 100-bed long-term care facility located near the Jamestown Reservoir on the city’s north side.
The Jamestown Community Foundation awards grants to local organizations and special projects. The grants are selected by a board of 15 members, including four executive members chosen by the Jamestown Chamber of Commerce.
